Titan Machinery plans on closing 10 dealership acquisitions before the end of 2008.
On Dec. 22, the company closed on its acquisition of Anderson Power and Equipment, Inc., a Case IH and New Holland dealership in Thief River Falls, Minn. Cecil Anderson, who founded the dealership in 1972, will continue to manage the business location.
Titan Machinery is working toward the acquisition of 9 CNH-brand construction dealerships in Montana and Wyoming. This expansion will bring Titan Machinery into previously unoccupied states for the company.
Before these business transactions, the Titan Machinery network consisted of 60 locations. Titan Machinery owns dealership locations in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska.
