Topcon Expands Precision Ag Products

January 5, 2009 10:26 AM

Topcon introduces two precision ag products, the System 110 and System 150.

The System 110 lightbar guidance system has on-screen coverage mapping and three basic operating modes. The detachable lightbar can be placed for optimum field of view. The boundary mapping feature allows the operator to record the size and shape of their field. Operators can easily identify overlapped or missed areas thanks to the automatic coverage mapping. Optional with the System 110 is automatic section control (ASC) which has control for up to 10 boom sections.

The System 150 AutoSteering incorporates 3G technology and receives signals from all available satellite systems. Components for the System 150 include the GX-45 control console and AGI-3 receiver. The screen shows areas applied, speed, row number and satellite information. This automated steering system features boundary and U-turn recognition for easier lock-on to the next swath. The ASC feature is also optional on the System 150.
