Tractor Tales: 1947 Farmall BN

December 5, 2016 12:36 PM

Production of the Farmall BN began in the 1940s and is similar to its cousin, the Farmall B. The main differences between the two machines are the axels: the BN’s axels are 6 inches shorter.

This week on Tractor Tales, Machinery Pete visits James Fillyaw in Bunker Hill, Ind. as he discusses his 1947 Farmall BN’s history and what the tractor means to him.

Watch Tractor Tales every weekend on U.S. Farm Report.

I like to see old tractors. They made the industrial revolution possible. Without them, everybody would have to workmany long hours just to feed the family.
