My uncle owned a "white" C. I was 6 years old and was fascinated with that C tractor. He used it for many jobs around his farm. Somewhere around 1970 he repainted it red. I don't know if he cut a deal with the dealer to not paint it red, but it was white. He used it to cultivate corn and beans, and even set his 4 row International corn planter to 30 in. rows and reset the cultivators to handle 30 in. rows for planting beans. He had a manure loader that he used to clean his cattle sheds. He kept it washed and it was always a sharp looking tractor. I was disappointed when he painted it red.
