Jim Yoars of Bunker Hill, Ind. is a fan of all things red, and his 1953 Farmall Super C is no exception.

The tractor was in production for three years. Brand new, the piece of equipment would cost $1,700.

In 1953 my dad had a Farmall dealership here in South Georgia and I remember accompanying him on my first plane ride in a DC-6 from Atlanta to Chicago to see the roll-out of the new Super C Farmall. I was twelve at the time but I remember the square dance that was done with four Super C's, throttles wide-open dosey-doeing with their fast-hitch implements. Never leaving the seat of the tractors they could drop their implements in the corner circle around and pick up a new partner (implement). All very amazing at the time.
