USDA, EPA Biggest Influencers on Production Agriculture

According to a recent Farm Journal Pulse, these two governmental bodies top the list of impacting agriculture.

The U.S government definitely has ties to agriculture. But, which part impacts production agriculture the most?
A recent Farm Journal Pulse, a text message poll of farmers and ranchers, asked: Which most impacts production agriculture?
The options were U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Here are the results from around 1,200 votes:
  • EPA 41%
  • USDA 55%
  • FDA 4%
