USDA Provides More Updates on Data Releases (Updated)

As USDA continues to regroup following a shutdown that lasted more than two weeks, it has provided updates regarding the release dates of its agriculture reports. USDA will release its Cattle on Feed Report (scheduled for Oct. 18) and Cold Storage Report (scheduled for Oct. 22) Oct. 31, according to Reuters newswire.

USDA will reportedly issue the Export Sales Report for the week ended Sept. 26 on Friday at 2:00 p.m. CT. The department will update the export sales data for the week ended Oct. 3 on Oct. 24 at 7:30 a.m. CT. On Oct. 31 at 7:30 a.m. CT, USDA will update export sales data for the weeks ended Oct. 10, Oct. 17 and Oct. 24. Subsequent reports will be released as scheduled.

In addition, the lapse in funding affected data collection efforts for the Farm Labor. The report, originally scheduled to be released on Nov. 21, will be published on Dec. 5.
