Juli says: For the Small Grains Summary, USDA will take into account Certified Acreage data from the Farm Service Agency in formulating its estimate. Traders look for the report to show a slight reduction in all wheat production from USDA's last survey-based estimate. Traders remember how USDA shocked the market last year with a corn stocks estimate that was 300 million bu. above the average pre-report trade estimate. As a result, traders are being cautious heading into the report.
