The 2010 model lineup from Polaris is outfitted with new functions for increased work capabilities around the farm. The Sportsman 550 X2 ATV is designed for easy conversion from a rear passenger seat to a 400-lb. dump box. The Sportsman 550 X2 is powered by a 550-cc single EFI 42-hp engine. The low gear runs up to 39 mph while towing 1,500 lb. The Dual-A front suspension has longer control arms, and the rolled independent rear suspension provides bump protection with a ground clearance of 11.25". The unit runs on 14" cast aluminum spoke wheels and 26" Maxxis tires. Rubber mounting on the chassis and internal balance shafts decrease engine vibrations, and a large air box allows for quieter operation.

The Ranger 800 6x6 side-by-side vehicle from Polaris is redesigned with an 800-cc twin EFI engine and a top speed of 46 mph. The utility vehicle has a fully independent  A-arm suspension and on-demand all-wheel drive with an overall 12" ground clearance. The overhead vehicle frame is ROPS certified. The cargo dump box has a 1,250-lb. capacity and a 1-ton towing and payload capacity. A job box is located between the cab and the cargo box, providing 9,000 cu. in. of covered, lockable storage and 250 lb. of capacity. The Ranger 800 6x6 also features 46% more dash storage with larger seating and more leg room. Ranger vehicles can be matched with Pure Polaris accessories.
