Wheat and Soybeans End the Week Higher

July 23, 2010 03:08 PM

Wheat was the star in the week just finished, with September up 95¢ and December, more than $1/bu.—especially noteworthy at harvest time in some parts of the country.

Beans also showed life, though more modestly, as talk of disease and insects escalated and conditions continued to favor problems here and for other oilseeds abroad.

Corn, on the other hand, lost a little ground as traders decided it is getting too late to kill this big crop.
