Many planters are still rolling across U.S. farms, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start preparing for harvest. And if you’re in the market for a used grain cart this fall, Greg “Machinery Pete” Peterson says it’s a good time to look for deals.
“The supply of them is up,” he says. “The number of machinery auctions has been going up, and on the dealer side, we have a healthy supply of them. The second reason is used values have come down a little bit, particularly on the larger-sized grain carts.”
