Why It's a Buyer's Market for Used Grain Carts

Many planters are still rolling across U.S. farms, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start preparing for harvest. And if you’re in the market for a used grain cart this fall, Greg “Machinery Pete” Peterson says it’s a good time to look for deals.

“The supply of them is up,” he says. “The number of machinery auctions has been going up, and on the dealer side, we have a healthy supply of them. The second reason is used values have come down a little bit, particularly on the larger-sized grain carts.”
