Will Transit Crunch Hurt Grain Deliveries?

Although corn and soybean crops will be large this fall, there’s no guarantee farmers in all regions will have the transportation available to get those crops to demand centers in a timely way.

Power Hour Noon Logo"For some, the demand will be too far away to really take advantage of and see those awesome basis opportunities," explains Angie Maguire, Citizens Grain, in an interview on the AgDay Agribusiness Update. "Whereas with others, if you have the transportation and it’s close by, you’re going to be leaps and bounds ahead of your neighbor perhaps to the north or 500 miles away either direction."
