Wisconsin Raw-milk Advocates Make Appeal to State Supreme Court

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports today that raw milk advocates will appeal to the Wisconsin Supreme Court that Wisconsin consumers have a constitutional right to purchase raw milk from state dairy farms.

The case stems from a suit brought by dairy farmers Mark and Petra Zinniker of Walworth County. The farmers lost their license to sell milk when 35 people got sick after allegedly drinking raw milk from the farm in 2009.
