8 Virtual Farm Tours are conducted throughout the week at WDE. The tours are presented in Mendota Room 1 of the Exhibition Hall and posted at www.worlddairyexpo.com.

20 Countries have produced a WDE International Dairy Person of the Year. The countries: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the U.S.

21 Teams participated in the 2014 National Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest.

334 Participants competed in the 2014 WDE Youth Showman-ship Contest.

408 Companies, farms, families and individuals donated as generous sponsors and supporters of WDE in 2014.

413 Cheeses were entered in the 2014 WDE Championship Dairy Product Contest.

469 Entries (for seven categories) were submitted in last year’s World Forage Analysis Superbowl held in conjunction with WDE.  Entries came from 25 U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

500 Volunteers who aid in the planning and implementation of WDE each year.  

835 Companies and organizations exhibited as part of the 2014 WDE Trade Show. Represented in the Trade Show’s 1,400 booths were 24 countries, 44 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces.

1,510 Stuffed animals sold at the Purple Cow Gift Shop last year.

1,734 Dairy cattle exhibitors (from 37 states, 11 Canadian provinces and Mexico) took part in 2014 WDE.

2,334 Dairy cattle were checked in on the WDE grounds during 2014.

2,760 Pounds of cheese was used by the Badger Dairy Club’s ever-popular Grilled Cheese Stand during WDE 2014.

3,248 International visitors (from 94 countries) attended WDE in 2014.

7,500 Annual theme pins are ordered by WDE each year. The pins are sold in the Purple Cow Gift Shop and given to international attendees, judging participants, exhibiting companies, sponsors and volunteers.

27,150 Facebook users have “liked” the WDE Facebook page as of mid-February 2015.

74,000 U.S. dollars paid for De-Su 1912-ET at the World Classic 2014 Holstein Sale. She was the highest-selling animal among all six breed sales held in conjunction with WDE.

77,204 dairy enthusiasts attended WDE in 2014.

394,000 Homes around the world have viewed ExpoTV (livestream) in the past seven years.
