2019 planting continues to lag well behind the historic average.
Winter wheat production is forecast at 1.27 billion bushels, up 7 percent from 2018.
Major global trade changes for 2018/19 include higher projected corn exports for Brazil, Argentina, the EU, and Ukraine with a partially offsetting reduction for the United States.
USDA Quarterly Grain Stocks report released March 29, corn stocks down 3% from March 2018, soybean stocks up 29%, all wheat stocks up 6%.
