It's national H1N1 day on the social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Started by the Illinois Farm Bureau Federation, the program is designed to spread the word that that other term for the virus is not acceptable and it doesn't come from pigs. The continued misuse of terminology for this is having significant impact on pork producers, though it seems the most of the American pubic is catching on to the fact that eating pork is OK. The video segment below shows how one Missouri family is using the new technology to spread the word.
