AND CENTRAL KANSAS WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN ITS WAKE THRU FRI MORNING.......SHOWERS WILL LINGER FRIDAY MORNING THRU NRN ILLINOIS. AND NRN IOWA WITH GUSTY NORTH WINDS THRU IOWA, MISSOURI, AND ILLINOIS.....SATURDAY WILL BE QUIET THRU OUT THE FORECAST AREA, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF GUSTY SOUTH WINDS AND SHOWERS DEVELOPING IN WRN NEBRASKA LATE IN THE DAY............ SUNDAY THRU WED 9TH/12TH - POTENTIAL BIG PROBLEMS ON THE WAY: VERY UNSTABLE WEEK SETTING UP WITH PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN AND SEVERE WEATHER (ESPECIALLY IOWA) .........A SERIES OF SYSTEMS WILL BE TRACKING ONTO THE CALIF/NW COAST THRU THE WEEK AND TRACK EASTWARD ACROSS THE ROCKIES, AND INTO THE UPPER AND SOUTHERN PLAINS........EXPECT STRONG SOUTHERLY FLOW FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO THRU THE WEEK - INCREASING MOISTURE WITH EVERY PASSING DAY.
