Mid Growing Season Edition
The 2008 Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour will be Aug. 17 -21, 2008, with nearly 70 scouts covering an estimated 20 routes on two legs through seven states.

Leading up to this year's event, Tour sponsors Pioneer Hi-Bred and John Deere Risk Protection (JDRP), are making the Pro Farmer Crop Tour insert available to AgWeb.com. These monthly inserts into the weekly Pro Farmer Newsletter, will provide a detailed look at current crop conditions, how those conditions are impacting price action and will highlight some of the lessons learned on past Crop Tours.
Pro Farmer has been leading the Midwest Crop Tour through the heart of the Corn Belt since 1993. The Tour is open to everybody and anybody. Registration for non-Pro Farmer Members is $75; the registration fee for Pro Farmer Members is covered by Pioneer and JDRP. Participants are responsible for their travel and hotel expenses while Tour sponsors provide evening meals at each of the overnight stops.
