Cattle Commentary: February live cattle futures worked lower to start the week as the market worked to give back gains from Wednesday’s Cattle on Feed report. At one point today, nearly everyone that had bought the “euphoria” on Wednesday would have under water. Cash cattle last week reached levels not seen for what seems like a lifetime, we saw fats trading 116-117 and dressed sales coming in from 180-185. Cash expectations to start the week are steady.
