Earl Christianson, legend in farm equipment biz, passed away Tuesday at age 87.
Earl graduated from Elbow Lake H.S. (MN) and after college went to work for his father's farm equipment biz before connecting with the Steiger brothers (Maurice & Douglass) to help develop and market Steiger 4WD tractors in the early 1960's. Earl was the 1st Steiger dealer (Christianson's Inc.). Earl's son Peter Christianson went on to be co-founder and later President of Titan Machinery (http://www.titanmachinery.com).
