Tuesday got me thinking.
It was this past Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2017) a 2016 model CaseIH 8240 combine with 28 sep. hours sold for $322,000 on the Wolf Family Farms auction in east-central Illinois. Here's a picture of the 8240.
So, how does that $322K sale price stack up? Turns out it's the highest auction sale price so far this year in the U.S. on a Combine and also the 5th highest auction sale price ever in the U.S. on a Combine. Here are the facts:
