Joe Vaclavik discusses this week's USDA Ag Outlook Forum numbers. He argues that most of these numbers are not actionable in regard to grain marketing and that USDA has simply issued a series of "educated guesses." USDA projected 2020 US corn acreage at 94mil. USDA projected 2020 US soybean acreage at 85mil. Both numbers would be up significantly vs. 2019 if realized. The yield and production numbers are a function of weather and are largely unpredictable.
