Calling All Ag Tech Startups

Ag Innovation Showcase, a leading annual global forum about agricultural technology, has issued a call for cutting-edge startups and university research projects to present their ideas to potential investors, strategic partners and collaborators.
Successful applicants will be able to present their ag-related business/technology at the 2012 Ag Innovation Showcase this September in St. Louis. To date, 95 percent of presenters have found potential partners, and 73 percent have found potential investors at the event itself.
Presenters will have the opportunity to:
  • Present business or research to an exclusive audience of investors, corporate strategics and potential partners
  • Exhibit at a dedicated exhibit booth
  • Receive mentoring and feedback in preparation for the Showcase

Ag Innovation Showcase, which was established in 2009, promotes emerging technologies in ag-bio, food and nutrition, biofuels, sustainable materials, clean-tech, information technology and animal health. Held at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, the largest independent plant science research institute in the world, the Ag Innovation Showcase is a joint effort of BRDG ("bridge") Park at the Danforth Plant Science Center and Larta Institute, as well as a number of sponsors.
