FJCTV: Fighting Pest Pressure on Spraying Wheat

A new international study suggests that pests and pathogens cost global agriculture more than $500,000,000 per year.

On Farm Journal College TV, wheat agronomist Phil Needham shares tips for fighting pest pressure.

“There’s a lot of opportunities for farmers to move forward from a standard flat front nozzle,” said Needham. “It’s not going to achieve a good standard of coverage down both sides of the wheat.”

Needham recommends using a duo cap nozzle instead.
