Land Sale of the Week: $1,200/a in Central Kansas

Mike Walsten

An auction Dec. 22 in Pawnee County, Kan., saw 320 acres sell for $1,200 an acre. The farm, located about four miles south of Burdett, featured 301 acres of dryland cropland. There were 11 acres in waterways with the balance in roadways. Seller's mineral rights sold with the surface rights and were believed to be 100%.

Handling the auction was Carr Auctions & Real Estate, Inc., Larned, 800-503-2277.
