The Wheat Quality Council 2012 Hard Winter Wheat Tour wrapped up Thursday. Here are the final numbers from the tour:

2012 Hard winter Wheat Quality Tour

49.1 bu./acre, 608 samples

For the tour, the lowest estimated yield was 8 bu./acre, highest was 120.3 bu./acre

2011: 37.4 bu./acre
2010: 40.7 bu./acre

Most stops ever made, highest average yield in more than a decade.
