We want to be successful. I mean who doesn’t right? Fortunately, our friends at Harvest PR and Marketing, Inc. want us to succeed too! That’s why they awarded us the Seed to Succeed grant valued at $25,000. Wow…$25,000 invested in helping us meet our goals. That is incredible.
What are we going to do with $25,000 dollars? Well, we are planning on expanding our mobile tour this year and we are planning to use some of the grant to expand our engagement with the folks who spend time visiting our road show via social media. (We’ll even be visiting some college campuses, but sshhh… don’t tell ANYONE, it’s a secret!) In fact, social media will be a LARGE part of what our friends at Harvest PR are going to help us with.
What makes our foundation unique is that we are not only passionate about feeding hungry people, but we also seek to help people learn more about farmers and the hard work they do to feed the world. The Farm Journal brand has a tremendous reputation in the agriculture industry, but we have a hard time reaching those who don’t know much about farming. Harvest PR is going to help us fix that.
The Seed to Succeed grant has a history of helping new organizations grow, reach their goals and connect with their audience. Partnering with them is a great fit because in its past Harvest PR has used the Seed to Succeed to help farmers through the Southern Peanut Growers and they helped the AgChat Foundation connect with consumers too! Their past experiences are coliding the best of both worlds and WE are thrilled to be working with Harvest PR to further our mission, they are truly giving us seeds to succeed!
