The Farm Journal Profit College is a one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge event that builds on the knowledge of Farm Journal Field Agronomist Ken Ferrie, Farm Journal columnist Moe Russell and Top Producer columnist and AgWeb blogger Chris Barron. Co-located with a Corn College Planter Clinic, the event is focused on Variable-Rate Technology (VRT), recognizing that precision technology has a powerful impact on agronomic and profitability outcomes.

Using VRT to create management zones within fields allows growers to increase yields by 25-30 bu./acre, providing a tremendous payback—regardless of the size of the farm operation.  The technology also contributes to the enormous gaps in profitability—that range as high as $500/acre—from one field to the next.
