    The markets are rebounding today led by meal. It is my belief we are potentially on the verge of a large shift in the oilseeds. The global oilseed growth is expanding offering continued competition to soymeal. It is my thought that we will continue to see the soymeal sink in use while competition from other protein areas expand. Corn put on a show today after yesterday’s weak session. I have favored corn and believe a window exists for a nice rally. USDA report in nov offers the best chance.

    The soy remains under pressure. The Harvest progress domestically is progressing nicely. The long term weather outlooks support more of the same. The South American planting, especially as it relates to Brazil, is advancing rapidly. I have promoted short beans and meal. I like short new crop beans above 920 nov 19.     It is my thought that the opportunities that present themselves now, more than ever, need to be taken advantage of. The soybean carryover numbers are off the charts. The weather for harvest is good. The Southern Hemisphere is looking very good. China issues are unresolved. The Corn was able to close higher despite the break in Wheat. Exports could be understated by approx 100 million bu. There would need to be a major weather issue globally to have a big market.
