New Series of Hay Tedders

May 26, 2009 07:00 PM

The new Frontier TD24 Series Tedders increase hay production efficiency and minimizes dry time. Two models, the TD2418 and TD2427, are available in either four-basket or six-basket models with seven tine arms per basket. Flexible steel tines are easily adjustable to pick up crop in tough conditions and minimize ground contact. Working widths range from 18'2” to 27'. Rotors feature fully enclosed gearboxes and a tilt cylinder. Both models feature hydraulic tilt and transport. Producers can adjust the tine pitch of the tedder by turning an eccentric spacer washer. With more aggressive tine position, the tedder throws hay higher. Contact your local John Deere dealer for price information.
