Registrar Corp. has upgraded its FDA Compliance Monitor, a tool to ensure companies are following Food Safety Modernization Act requirements.

The upgrade includes a simplified layout and an optimized back end for user efficiency, according to a news release. Users will see tables displaying overviews of supplier compliance, which can be expanded to review detailed company data. The process is much faster, according to Registrar Corp.

The upgrade is available and free for all users, and the company has a free web seminar on FDA Compliance Monitor features, 1-2 p.m. Eastern on Jan. 23.

Registrar Corp. representatives are available for one-on-one demos as well.

The company already is working on additional features, including validation of FDA registration numbers, a digital repository for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point/Hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls plans, and enterprise integration capabilities.

“We are constantly exploring ways to innovate the Monitor,” Brendon Sampson, manager of the FDA Compliance Monitor Department, said in the release. “User feedback is integral to delivering actionable and practical features. We anticipate significant growth in implementing future developments.”
