China is confirming another round of trade talks with the U.S. will take place in Beijing. The Commerce Ministry announced U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin will take part in talks next Thursday and Friday.
Following that China's Vice Premier will travel to Washington D.C. in early April for more talks. President Trump saying he's considering keeping tariffs on Chinese products for a substantial period of time.
"We have to make sure that if we do the deal with China, that China lives by the deal because they've had a lot of problems living by certain deals and we have to make sure," says President Trump.
The President continuing to say that a deal with China is coming along nicely.
