In the not-too-distant future, three key variables—weather, an aging U.S. population and outside markets—will play an important role in the price farmers get for their corn.
"As weather adversity globally increases, and population pressures increase, this has a significant impact on corn price activity," notes Bob Utterback, Farm Journal economist.
