1967 John Deere 2510 Diesel
Nov 25, 2012
This tractor is featured for the month of November in the 2013 Classic Farm Tractors Calendar.
This handsome New Generation John Deere is especially desirable because of its diesel engine and Powershift transmission. There were 15,008 Model 2510 made, but only 817 units were equipped like this one. The 2510 was a joint effort, the engine was designed by the Dubuque factory, the drivetrain was designed in Waterloo. It is the only 10 Series with Powershift transmission. The 2510 tractors were released for sale at the time John Deere introduced the 3020 and 4020 models. The 2510 produced 50 hp in a Nebraska test. This tractor was shipped to a dealer in Tarboro, NC.
