Finalized on July 19, 2022, BigIron Auctions and Sullivan Auctioneers LLCs have reached an agreement for an acquisition, which will combine two of the biggest online auction companies with a shared total of almost 80 years in the auction business. . 

“Our shared philosophies of transparency, trust, and hard work solidified our decision to combine organizations,” Mark Stock, Big Iron CEO, said in the company's announcement. “Together we are better.”

On the Machinery Pete podcast, Greg Peterson interviewed Mark Stock of Bigiron.com and Dan Sullivan with Sullivan Auctioneers about the deal.

Headquartered in Hamilton, IL, Sullivan Auctioneers will continue to operate but as a BigIron Company. Dan, Joe, Matt, Luke and Michael Sullivan will lead the Hamilton, IL, Huntington, IN, and Bird Island locations. .

Ron and Mark Stock will continue to head the Omaha, Columbus, and St. Edwards, Nebraska locations.
