If you’ve experienced the joy and challenge of navigating family business boundaries, you need to make time for the 2016 Executive Women in Agriculture Conference happening Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 in Chicago. There, Barb Dartt and Stephanie Edsall of The Family Business Consulting Group will guide attendees through an interactive discussion of those critical issues.

In an interview earlier this year about family governance, Dartt explained the value of meaningful interaction among family, business and ownership systems that can be found within farm operations.

“It provides a forum for constructive discussion and problem solving about the family as it relates to the business, as well as how the business relates to the family,” Dartt says. “I encourage starting with family meetings early on.”

Dartt and Edsall will present from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. CDT on Thursday, Dec. 1 in the Grand Ballroom of the Palmer House Hilton Chicago Hotel.
