Betsy Jibben, National Reporter
Betsy Jibben is a National Reporter for Farm Journal Media. She works on the TV side for two nationally syndicated shows, "AgDay" and "U.S. Farm Report." Betsy’s job is to cover news around the country between commodities, policy and feature stories. She says, “Everyone has a story. You just have to find it and let them tell it!”
She comes to the programs with lifelong roots in agriculture. Betsy is a South Dakota native who grew up on a livestock operation and grain farm her great-grandfather bought. She was involved in 4-H, Horse 4-H and spent her summers outdoors riding horses. She realized public speaking was a strength of hers after she joined the debate team in high school and took speech classes in college.
Betsy graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. Go Jacks! Earlier in Betsy’s career, she worked for a local news station in South Dakota. She’s been an Indiana transplant since 2014.
