You know the old saying: “Spring forward, fall back.” Whether daylight saving time is a good thing or an unnecessary inconvenience has long been a topic of debate, and recently, more states have considered ending the practice.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed legislation that would end the practice of setting clocks back one hour in the fall.
