Technicals (June-M)
June live cattle continued to linger near the top end of the range from the last few months and seem to have that 180.00 level in the cross hairs. the cash market continues to be steady and the outside markets very firm. Perhaps this alleviates some concern over some of the softer economic data we’ve seen over the last few weeks.
Resistance: 179.65-180.75***
Pivot: 178.45-178.80
Support: 175.80-176.20, 172.90-173.425
Lean Hogs
Technicals (June-M)
The lean hog market has been the definition of sharply sideways as of late as we continue to linger in/near our around 98. If the Bulls can find their footing here we could see relief towards the recent breakdown point and the 20 & 50 day moving averages, all coming in near 102.
Resistance: 102.02-102.60, 105.45-106.00
Pivot: 98.35-98.625
Support: 96.775-96.975*, 93.50-94.00
