Grains Lower Except Corn: Outside Markets Trade Opposite of Fed Decision

Grains are lower except corn early Thursday, with cattle opening higher then turning mixed. The stock market is under pressure.

Soybeans also saw slow exports at only 13 million bu. and continued concerns about tariffs weigh on futures.

Wheat is seeing selling and has fallen under key moving averages on fund selling, but also dismal exports and better moisture in winter wheat areas.

Cattle hit new highs with weather supportive, then fade ahead of the COF report.

And the Fed held interest rates steady Wednesday but the outside markets are still trading the uncertainty of tariffs with new highs in gold and a higher U.S. dollar index.
