Brazil’s soybean crop is expected to jump nearly 20% to 146 MMT for 2022-23, according to the initial forecast from Patria Agronegocios.

The firm expects Brazil’s soybean plantings to increase 2.8% to 42.2 million hectares (104.2 million acres) and yields to rebound sharply after drought impacted some areas and excessive late-season wetness plagued other locations.
