The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange cut its Argentine corn crop estimate another 3 MMT to 46.5 MMT, citing damage from corn stunt disease caused by a leafhopper plague. Corn stunt disease has cut production by 10 MMT from the initial forecast, which called for a record crop.

The exchange kept its Argentine soybean crop estimate at 51 MMT but said it could reduce its forecast if yields continue to run lower than expected.
