In the midst of a crop tour of Brazil’s main corn areas, Agroconsult raised its safrinha corn crop estimate by 1.7 MMT to 89.3 MMT. The Brazil-based consultancy now forecasts the country’s total corn production at 114.8 MMT. The firm raised its Brazilian soybean crop estimate by 2.3 MMT to 126.9 MMT, citing an upward revision to planted area.
