As you settle in for lots of cab time this spring, be sure to add a new podcast to your playlist. Launching this week is the “The Farm CPA Podcast,” brought to you by Top Producer.

This new weekly podcast is hosted by Paul Neiffer, CPA and partner with CLA and a Top Producer columnist. Each week, Neiffer visits with business-minded farmers and ag experts for lively and in-depth conversations. They discuss top trends in farm management, tax issues, policy implications and more.

“The design of the podcast is to let farmers, who will be the majority of my guests, share their story,” Neiffer says. “This includes what they did right, what they did wrong and just do a deeper dive into their operation. The goal is to get those stories out there to other farmers.”

The conversations will last around 30 minutes.

Soon you will be able to download the podcast for Apple and Android devices (through their podcast apps). For now, you can listen to the kickoff episode right here:

New episodes will launch each Tuesday. Upcoming guests include:

  • May 4: Jim Wiesemeyer, Pro Farmer Washington Analyst
  • May 11: Dave Nelson, Nelson Family Farms & Ag Solutions Group
  • May 18: Roric Paulman, Paulman Farms
  • May 25: Dick Wittman and Cori Wittman Stitt, Wittman Farms

Listen in as Neiffer discusses the podcast on AgriTalk:

All of “The Farm CPA Podcast” episodes will be posted to AgWeb.
