It’s much more common of late to stumble upon an array of different paint colors when you visit a farmer’s equipment barn.

By utilizing different brands of tractors, combines, and field implements, farmers can zero in on the best tool for the job.

Ag Leader Technology’s aftermarket solutions have long been a go-to for farmers who want to upgrade the equipment they have with the latest technology. The company is still based out of Ames, Iowa, and still family owned.

Al Myers, the company’s humble founder, is widely recognized as a precision ag pioneer and the original inventor of the yield monitor, and his son Mike is right there alongside Al on the leadership team.

Ag Leader recently released two new displays, the InCommand Go 16 and InCommand Go 10. The InCommand Go 16 features a 16-inch screen while the InCommand Go 10 offers a 10-inch screen. Both include several user enhancements that improve visibility and connectivity.

Logan Handsaker is a product sales specialist with the company, having spent a decade at Ag Leader in various roles. He calls the InCommand Go 16 a game-changer for those looking for an easy-to-use display that manages all the precision functions on one screen.

“It’s challenging for a farmer to manage multiple displays in the cab at once. We know farmers want one display that does everything, and does it well,” says Handsaker. “The InCommand Go 16 is larger than the previous generation, which makes it easier for farmers to see and manage complex operations in the field and improve decision making on the go, across every season, through a single display.”

Added connectivity on the InCommand Go 16 allows farmers to take advantage of features in AgFiniti, Ag Leader’s cloud-based platform, including DisplayCast (screen and data mirroring between machines), CartACE (grain cart guidance), and Remote Support.

“Managing connectivity has been a challenge for farmers,” Handsaker says. “Ag Leader leveraged connectivity and AgFiniti to create more value for our customers, so it’s easy to get connected and take advantage of all the value connectivity has to offer.

From planting to harvest, and everything in between, Ag Leader says it has solutions for nearly every operation on the farm. “And the new displays seamlessly tie all the information and operations together,” Handsaker adds.
