There are plenty of tools at a grower’s disposal, and Farm Journal’s wheat agronomist uses his handheld GreenSeeker on the farm.

The tool is used to help user fertilizer inputs more efficiently, especially nitrogen. The only big difference between handheld GreenSeekers and the sensors that fit on sprayers is portability.
