Widespread planting progress finally began across the Corn Belt this week. Where do things stand in your neck of the woods?

Here are a handful of reports to AgWeb Crop Comments:

Jun 20, 2022: Livingston County, IL - I'd say Mother Nature is about to slam the lid on the 2022 crop around here and start driving nails in if we don't receive some much needed rain soon!

May 30, 2022: Marshall County, MN - PP might run as high as 75% in our area.

May 25, 2022: MN - Most of the corn is in. Still a little going in. But with rain today that maybe the end of corn planting for 2022.

May 20, 2022: Indiana -  Had another 2.5 inch down pour last night third in about 3 weeks, little planted here a lot washed out.

May 20, 2022: Minnesota - There has been little to no field work done in our area. It’s stays to wet and cold. They are talking frost for Saturday and Sunday morning.

May 18, 2022: Minnesota - Corn and soybeans going in like crazy. Many will be done in a few days. Leaving wet holes for now.

May 15, 2022: Northumberland County, PA - Finally started Thursday calling for rain Monday hurry up and wait.

May 11, 2022: Texas - Corn in central Texas is starting to tassel looks good but doesn’t need this heat!

May 10, 2022: Benton County, Ind. - Planting both corn and soybeans, going strong. Saw some coming up already.

May 10, 2022: Stearns County, Minn. - Its been cold and wet got some corn planted during a windy day on ground that was chiseled with no harrow that leveled and sealed the ground tight.
