Boarderie, a charcuterie board assembly and shipping company based out of West Palm Beach, Fla., has taken the art of cheese board making to a whole new level.

Earlier this month, the company set out to craft the world’s largest charcuterie board, which clocked in at a whopping 769 lbs. Modeled after their best-selling Arte board, the company built a replica that measured 169 times its usual size – 20 feet by 14 feet. The gigantic board featured 13 different wire-cut artisanal cheeses and five cured meats. Olives, flatbread crackers, dried fruit, nuts and chocolates also accompanied the board.

According to Aaron Menitoff, co-founder and co-CEO of Boarderie, measuring and organizing the board’s ingredients reportedly took four hours, while the assembly only took one hour. The board was assembled by 40 of Boarderie’s staff members.

"Boarderie creates experiences every day that bring people together around celebrations and social occasions that start conversations and that's what we achieved here today on a very large scale," Menitoff said in a statement.

The board was crafted at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and broke the previous record for the world’s largest charcuterie board by more than 300 lbs. The company has been featured on Shark Tank and was listed one of “Oprah’s Favorite Things” in 2022.

"Our journey has been nothing short of incredible, and the meteoric rise of the brand in the past two years wouldn't have been possible without our phenomenal team who all share our commitment to crafting extraordinary culinary experiences," Menitoff said.

At the conclusion of the record-breaking event, the charcuterie board was donated to a local homeless shelter.
