EUROPE: Additional Rain Boosts Crop Prospects
- Persistent showers boost prospects for filling winter crops across much of Europe. Soil moisture remains adequate to abundant for spring wheat and vegetative summer crops.
- Locally hot, dry conditions in the Balkans reduce soil moisture for corn and sunflowers.
