Fendt Launches New Track Tractor, Largest-Ever Planter and Next Gen Compact Class

The three products continue Fendt’s expansion of a full-line portfolio and advance the company’s goal of improving productivity from planting to harvest.

This week, Fendt announced three new additions to its lineup with the goal of improving productivity from planting to harvest. The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 track tractor, the Fendt Momentum 80-foot planter and the North American debut of the Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 point to AGCO and Fendt’s investments in the U.S. market.

“The message is, whatever problem a farmer has, instead of just bringing them the same equipment they’ve had for years, Fendt will try to bring them a new solution,” says Arthur Santos, senior marketing manager for Fendt Tractors in North America.

Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor

The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 track tractor comes with a reinforced transmission to accommodate the horsepower boost, making it Fendt’s most powerful tractor equipped with a VarioDrive transmission. VarioDrive and Fendt iD low-speed concept combine high power reserves and efficient power transfer with lower fuel consumption, saving farmers money.

Key features include:

  • SmartRide suspension technology for improved comfort across uneven terrain.
  • Steerable drawbar or three-point hitch that actively responds to steering input.
  • FendtONE operating system with intuitive controls, advanced technology integration and enhanced lighting.
  • New passive cab air filter cleaning system that continuously removes dust, reducing maintenance in harsh environments.

“We try to address any concerns that farmers would have, while still giving them the unmatched power of a Gen2 Track Tractor,” Santos explains.

The Fendt 1100 Vario MT Gen2 track tractor is now available for order with deliveries beginning in 2027.

Fendt Momentum 80-Foot Planter

The largest Momentum planter ever offered, this 32-row planter with 30-inch spacing is designed for large-scale farming operations seeking greater efficiency and productivity.

Key features include:

  • Standard 130-bu. high-capacity seed and 1,000-gal. fertilizer tanks.
  • SmartFrame technology combined with factory-integrated Precision Planting systems.
  • Optional Load Logic weight management.
  • New five-section vertically contouring toolbar for improved planting accuracy across rolling terrain.

“Large-scale growers need to cover more acres in tighter windows without sacrificing the precision that drives yield potential,” says Jason Lee, senior marketing manager for planters for Fendt North America. “The Fendt Momentum 32R30 maximizes agronomic performance and efficiency to achieve better yields, making every seed count.”

The Momentum 80-foot planter opens to limited orders in fall 2026, with deliveries in spring 2027.

Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 Compact Class

The new Fendt 300 Vario Gen5 line brings premium precision technology to the compact class with five new models. This includes the new 310 Vario, which delivers 113 hp to 152 hp with DynamicPerformance. Available across the entire series, DynamicPerformance automatically supplies an additional 10 hp for auxiliary needs such as air conditioning.

The latest generation also includes Cargo and Cargo Profi front loaders, supported by a new hydraulic system with independent valves. Others additions include GroundVision lighting for night work, a redesigned hood with daytime running lights and a new swivel seat.

“The Fendt 300 series has a long history of key innovations like our VarioDrive CVT, suspension systems and unmatched fuel efficiency,” says Daniel Smith, senior strategic marketing manager for Fendt North America. “The Gen5 packs all of that into a compact size with an intuitive, high-tech driver’s station that puts farmers first.”

The Fendty 300 Vario Gen5 is now available for order with deliveries in 2027.
